One might
wonder if the White House applies the same fervent pressure to tech companies enabling state surveillance abroad or, say, social media platforms amplifying disinformation campaigns from countries not in its good graces. Or perhaps, when the target is domestic civil liberties advocates exposing a federal agency, the 'pressure' becomes 'patriotic cooperation.' Funny how that works.
