White House Launches 'Media Bias' Tracker, Omits Own Bias

White House officials, reportedly concerned about 'false and misleading stories,' decided the best course of action was to create an official government monitoring system. This, naturally, comes from an administration whose own communication strategy often relies on carefully crafted narratives and selective leaks. (Remember when they called a foreign war a 'special military operation?' Oh, wait,

One might wonder if their tracker will include metrics on how often mainstream media quotes 'anonymous sources' from the State Department without critical scrutiny or how

quickly they pivot from 'humanitarian crisis' to 'strategic imperative' when it suits foreign policy objectives (and defense contractor profits). Will the tracker flag outlets that ignore, say, the $3.8 billion in annual U.S. military aid to Israel, or the countless humanitarian crises that don't fit the approved geopolitical narrative? Probably not. It's only 'bias' when *they* say it is.
