nations, the focus shifts to whether a pop star found it amusing. This tactic distracts from the deeper systemic issues, such as how dehumanizing language often precedes or justifies detrimental foreign policies, whether it's trade imbalances or military interventions. The media's selective outrage (or lack thereof) when such comments are made, especially by powerful figures, speaks volumes about
whose dignity is considered newsworthy and whose is dismissed as fodder for ephemeral celebrity news cycles.
