WFP Funds Run Out for Nigeria While US Funds Wars

One might wonder if the 'emergency' label applies equally to all lives, or if some national security interests are simply more… immediate. It appears

humanitarian crises are only 'crises' when they don’t conflict with perennial congressional appropriations for military assistance elsewhere. Funny how the coffers always seem bottomless for tanks, but suddenly empty for food. Apparently, preventing starvation isn't a national security priority for the world's wealthiest nations.
