What they cleverly omit is that this 'multinational' effort is overwhelmingly bankrolled by US taxpayers, creating a convenient pretext for a permanent US military presence in the region. pro-Israel PACs (OpenSecrets.org), including Friends of Israel PAC, is suddenly a 'peace envoy' after months of greenlighting weapons transfers. It’s a classic move: send the politician who benefits from the conflict to 'monitor' the conflict, then call it diplomacy. One might wonder if this 'peace plan' involves any actual peace for Palestinians, or just maintaining the regional status quo
