US Unleashes Immigration Crackdown While Funding Border Defense Abroad
As ICE, Customs, and Homeland Security agents fan out across Charlotte, North Carolina, for a 'crackdown' on migrants, the mainstream media dutifully reports the 'news' at face value. What they conveniently omit, however, is the irony so potent it could power a small city: the same government launching these raids just approved billions in aid to a foreign nation that has been actively displacing
and ethnically cleansing populations for decades, all in the name of its own 'border security' and 'territorial integrity'. While families in the US are torn apart over arbitrary lines drawn on maps, the Biden administration pushed for an additional $14.1 billion in security assistance to Israel in 2024 (White House FY2024 budget request, October 2023) , adding to its already substantial annual
aid. One might wonder: after all these years of defending other nations' borders, how many will the US actually build for its own residents? Or are some borders just more sacred than others?
