aid the US funneled to Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq war in the 80s, enabling chemical weapons attacks. Each 'escalation' against Iran seems to coincidentally align with domestic political turmoil or, perhaps, a need to shift focus from less savory geopolitical ventures. We're told Iran is at the 'highest level of readiness,' but for what? To defend against a persistent history of foreign
