What goes unmentioned, of course, are the crippling US sanctions—imposed for decades, intensified since 2017—that have decimated Venezuela's economy, leading to widespread poverty and, one might surmise, little

Perhaps Venezuelans are more worried about where their next meal is coming from, thanks to foreign policy that prioritizes regime change over human welfare, rather than rallying against a vague 'US threat' that feels more like an economic stranglehold than an invasion force.
Funny how people don’t line up to fight for a country whose infrastructure has been systematically dismantled by external pressure.
