US Spends $30B on Gaza War, Mostly for Israeli Military

According to Newsweek, the US has funneled over $30 billion into the Gaza conflict, primarily to Israel. This doesn't include the recent $26 billion aid package, with $14 billion earmarked for Israeli defense. Representative Steny Hoyer, who voted 'yes' on HR 815 for this package, received $16,500 from AIPAC in 2022, according to OpenSecrets.org. (A mere coincidence, surely.) While Congress

debates basic needs for American citizens, billions flow to maintain a conflict. How much 'aid' does it take before we question whose interests are truly being served? It seems 'cost' is only a concern when it's not supporting another military machine.
