This included $5.2 billion directly for missile defense and $3.5 billion for advanced weapon systems. Funds that could feed millions are instead weaponizing a single controversial conflict. We're told the world faces a humanitarian funding
crisis, while simultaneously witnessing bipartisan zeal for funneling billions into ongoing conflicts. One might wonder if the children starving in Sudan are less 'strategic' than the iron domes in Tel Aviv, or if 'aid cuts' is simply code for 're-prioritizing destruction.'
