Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has stated unequivocally that Iran will not stop its uranium enrichment or missile program. The usual suspects will predictably decry this as irresponsible, failing to recall that the US unilaterally withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018, despite Iran's compliance, as confirmed by the IAEA numerous times. administration, which promised to rejoin the deal, has thus far failed to do so, preferring instead to posture while demanding Iran abide by a deal the US itself abandoned. It’s almost as if the rules apply differently depending on who's breaking them.
