One might wonder the cost of fueling three nuclear-capable bombers—money that could perhaps buy, say, desperately needed
medical supplies for a populace struggling under sanctions. Is this 'pressure' or thinly veiled intimidation? Flying instruments of mass destruction near another sovereign nation's airspace certainly sends a message, though probably not one of neighborhood solidarity. How many schools or hospitals could have been funded with the cost of that performance?
