US Seeks to 'Reshape' Iraq, Again: Third Time's the Karma?

This isn't a 'gamble' to 'reshape' (again), it's a desperate scramble to manage the colossal, violent mess created by previous administrations – a mess that destabilized
the entire region, fueled extremist groups, and cost trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives. One has to ask: how many times can a country be 'reshaped' before it's simply broken? We saw this propaganda framework before the 2003 invasion, when voices like Dick Cheney assured us of 'cakewalks' and 'liberation.' The US isn't looking to 'make Iraq great again'; it's trying to mitigate
the blowback from its own disastrous interventions, often using the same rhetoric that led to the original catastrophe. This perpetual state of 'remaking' keeps the military-industrial complex very 'great' indeed.
