It appears the 'violent killing of peaceful protesters' becomes an international humanitarian crisis only when the offending nation isn't a strategic US ally or a recipient of
billions in US military aid. The hypocrisy isn't merely glaring; it's a policy framework, selectively deployed to justify interventions in places where the US seeks regime change, while conveniently overlooking identical, if not worse, atrocities committed by those deemed 'friends.' Perhaps the 'peaceful' aspect is determined by whether the protesters are calling for American-approved democracy,
