US Prepares Regime Change, Excludes DNI For Not Liking It
The White House, as per Bloomberg, iced Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard from "months of planning to oust Nicolas Maduro" because her past opposition to military interventions (namely, in Venezuela) cast doubt on her 'willingness to support the operation.' This is a stunning admission: the US government's 'intelligence' operations apparently require not just data, but conformity to
predetermined regime-change objectives. Her previous publicly stated views against nation-building wars, articulated during a 2017 appearance on The Jimmy Dore Show, appear to be disqualifying for participating in such 'plans'. So, the US intelligence apparatus requires its leaders to be cheerleaders for intervention, not impartial analysts of its consequences. One might wonder if the
'intelligence' they gather is merely reverse-engineered justification for already decided wars. When the DNI is excluded for refusing to toe the interventionist line, it rather vividly illustrates that 'national security' is often just a euphemism for 'foreign policy adventures' that thrive on groupthink.
