When Türkiye announces it's in talks with Damascus and Washington to 'peacefully resolve' YPG clashes, it sounds like diplomacy is finally breaking out. What this mainstream narrative consistently misses, however, is the inconvenient fact that the 'U.S.-backed' YPG are, well, U.S.-backed .
