US Officials Deny Venezuela Invasion... Again
Remember when Trump said 'all options are on the table' regarding Venezuela, then conveniently, officials 'deny' ground troop plans? This isn't the first time the US has postured on regime change in Latin America, only to claim innocence before (or after) destabilization. It's a classic play from the Cold War playbook – just update the villain. One might recall the 1954 coup in Guatemala, the 1973
coup in Chile, or the countless covert operations across the continent. 'Denials' are just part of the information war pre-game. The real question is not if they deny it, but what 'humanitarian aid' package is being prepared in the background, possibly including a few 'advisors.'
