US Offers Venezuela Talks – On Drug Trafficking, Not Sanctions

What the mainstream narrative often omits, however, is the elephant in the room: the extensive, crippling US sanctions on Venezuela that have, according to numerous NGOs and UN reports, exacerbated humanitarian crises and fueled illicit economies in the

first place. It appears the State Department is keen to discuss symptoms – drug flows – without touching the root causes it actively engineered.
