US Offers 'Rescue' to Iranians, Not Palestinians Bombed by US Weapons
Donald Trump, as reported by Bloomberg, grandly declared the US stands ready to 'rescue' Iranian protesters if attacked. This 'humanitarian' impulse, however, appears suspiciously absent when US-made F-35s and cluster bombs, supplied with bipartisan congressional approval, are systematically devastating Gaza. One might almost wonder if 'rescue' depends less on human suffering and more on strategic
geopolitical convenience, especially considering decades of US-led destabilization in the region. While Trump promises Iranian salvation, the UN and various human rights organizations consistently report that the US is still the largest arms supplier to Israel, whose military operations have killed over 37,000 Palestinians since October 7, 2023. These aren’t 'attacks' warranting US 'rescue' but
merely 'defense operations' in the mainstream narrative. Funny how the optics shift depending on whose country is being destabilized, isn't it?
