seems only interested in enforcing international law when it aligns perfectly with its own geopolitical and economic interests. One might conclude that a Russian-flagged tanker moving Venezuelan crude is a dire threat to the 'rules-based order,' but children starving in Gaza is merely a humanitarian 'concern.' The contrast in urgency, resources, and military action is, shall we say, illuminating.
