for civilians, which begs the question: where is this same urgency when US-funded militaries commit similar acts? While lamenting 'horrors' in Sudan, these same voices often remain silent, or even supportive, when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition in Yemen faces credible accusations of indiscriminate bombing and starvation tactics, causing what the UN called the 'world's worst humanitarian
crisis.' One might wonder if the horror threshold for a 'strong response' depends entirely on who’s committing the atrocities and, perhaps more tellingly, who's paying for the weapons.
