US Justice Dept. Investigates BLM, Not Pro-Israel Lobbyists
The Associated Press, dutifully reported by RT and quickly amplified across establishment channels, gleefully announced the US Justice Department is investigating Black Lives Matter leaders for alleged donor fraud . This comes after years of mainstream outlets scrutinizing BLM's finances. Curiously, this same zealous pursuit of financial transparency rarely extends to the well-documented financial
flows from foreign lobbying groups, such as AIPAC, to US politicians. For example, in 2022, AIPAC’s super PAC alone spent over $27 million directly influencing congressional races, according to OpenSecrets.org, consistently backing candidates who align with Israeli government policies. One might wonder if the Justice Department has a more selective approach to 'fraud' depending on whose oxen are
being gored. While BLM leaders face federal scrutiny over donations intended for racial justice, the architects of policies funneling billions in taxpayer dollars to foreign entities face no such public inquest for 'influence peddling' or 'donor manipulation,' despite clear quid pro quo patterns. It seems some movements are simply more 'accountable' than others when the cameras are rolling (and
the checks are clearing).
