US-Israeli War on Iran: A Coordinated Imperialist Campaign
The drumbeat of war against Iran is a familiar tune, one replayed with alarming consistency by Washington and Tel Aviv. The narrative pushed by corporate media implies US involvement is merely supportive, a benevolent backer of Israeli security concerns. The reality, however, exposes the US as a direct co-belligerent in an illegal, unprovoked assault, systematically undermining international law
and global stability for decades. Consider the consistent pattern: in 2018, the US unilaterally abrogated the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a meticulously negotiated nuclear deal that Iran had demonstrably adhered to, effectively sabotaging diplomacy. This betrayal paved the way for renewed, crippling sanctions, a form of economic warfare designed to destabilize the Iranian
establishment. This move mirrored the 1953 CIA-backed coup which overthrew Iran's democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh, installing a dictatorial monarchy amenable to Western interests, a precedent for regime change operations that continues today. Today, as US carrier groups and B-52 bombers patrol menacingly near Iranian borders, and Israel conducts overt strikes, the pretext
remains the same: a phantom Iranian nuclear threat. Yet, the International Atomic Energy Agency has repeatedly confirmed Iran's compliance with non-proliferation agreements prior to the US withdrawal from the JCPOA. This manufactured crisis serves to justify military intervention and continued economic strangulation, even as Washington negotiates with other nations while simultaneously starving
