The US concern for Iranian dissidents consistently spikes when it's politically convenient for regime change narratives, while similar repression in allied nations like Egypt or Saudi Arabia receives barely a whisper. It's almost as if 'human rights' are selectively applied based on oil contracts, strategic alliances, or who isn't buying our F-35s.
