Considering the US government's track record of memory-holing inconvenient facts—like the ongoing obliteration in Gaza, or the consistent vetoes protecting Israel at the UN—one has to question where 'accelerating drug development' truly ranks on the priority list compared to accelerating simulations for
smarter bombs or more effective information control.
