US Funds Israeli War, Cuts US Kids' Healthcare
While Newsweek quietly maps states where children lose essential healthcare, the mainstream media conveniently forgets to connect the dots. The same week thousands of American kids lose access to doctors, Congress can't greenlight another $14 billion in military aid to Israel fast enough. This isn't a funding problem; it's a priority problem. (Remember when Senator Lindsey Graham gloated about
'billions and billions' for Israel, while his constituents likely face these very healthcare cuts?) One might wonder: how many pediatric dental appointments could $14 billion buy? Instead, that money, approved without so much as a whimper from most of Washington, goes to maintain 'security' abroad. The 'security' of American children, however, remains apparently optional, or at least, entirely
unfunded.
