US Funds Israeli Bombs While Americans Beg for SNAP Benefits

October 2023, while these domestic food aid issues simmered, the House of Representatives passed HR 5860, allocating over $14 billion in military aid to Israel, with nary a delay or legal challenge to be found. Many of the same Representatives who voted 'yes' on that bill, like Rep. Kevin Mullin (CA-15) who received $10,000 from AIPAC in 2023 (OpenSecrets.org), will preach 'fiscal responsibility'
when it comes to feeding American children. Apparently, some budgets are more sacred than others.
