The public narrative frames this as a necessary expenditure, while child nutrition programs are simply ‘unsustainable.’ One could almost believe a nation starved of social safety nets is simply funding another
nation’s slaughter with fewer domestic complaints. How many hungry children are worth another tank for Netanyahu’s government?
