Remember, the 'Janjaweed'—the precursors to the RSF—were implicated in Darfur's genocide, yet the US continued its security cooperation, ostensibly to combat terrorism. One might wonder: how many 'allies' must be armed and trained into brutal warlords before we question the efficacy (or true intent) of such
