US Congress 'Deeply Concerned' After Another Lebanese Car Explodes
Lebanon says an Israeli strike killed a man in his car near the Israeli border. This 'target' conveniently exploded on Lebanese territory. One might recall similar 'precision strikes' that led to the death of Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut in January 2024 , and numerous others. While US politicians 'mourn' Israeli casualties, their silence on everyday Lebanese deaths is deafening.
Perhaps it's because many of those very politicians, like Senator Bob Menendez, who received over $200,000 from AIPAC-affiliated donors in 2022 , consistently vote for billions in unrestricted aid to Israel . One wonders if exploding cars for 'security concerns' is covered in the foreign aid package.
