Yet, when Saudi Arabia executes 81 people in a single day, or Israel's Netanyahu government conducts mass killings
in Gaza (currently over 37,000 dead according to UN figures), suddenly White House officials are all out of 'concerns' and 'threats.' One might wonder if the efficacy of a human rights complaint is directly proportional to how much oil the accused country doesn't sell to the West, or inversely proportional to how much money their lobbyists spend in Washington.
