US Bars Europeans for 'Censoring', Ignores Own Hypocrisy
Funny, isn't it? The same US government now feigning outrage over alleged European censorship previously established a 'Disinformation Governance Board' (remember the 'Ministry of Truth'?) and has a documented history of pressuring social media companies to remove content, particularly related to COVID-19 and election rhetoric. One might also recall the ACLU's lawsuit against Biden's
administration for pressuring platforms to censor speech. The irony could choke a horse. We are supposed to believe the US is suddenly championing unfettered expression globally, while domestically, its officials routinely equate criticism of Israeli government policies with antisemitism, effectively chilling speech. The hypocrisy is so thick, it requires a machete to navigate: 'Do as I say, not
as I do' is not a foreign policy, it's a kindergarten philosophy lesson.
