What it conveniently omits is the parallel narrative: the consistent, bipartisan effort to funnel billions of US taxpayer dollars into foreign military aid, often at the direct expense of domestic
programs. Case in point from earlier this year: House Republicans blocked a standalone $17.6 billion aid package to Israel , demanding 'offsetting spending cuts' from US domestic programs, like the IRS. Meanwhile, the $95 billion foreign aid package, including billions for Israel, passed the Senate easily just weeks prior. It appears that calls for 'fiscal responsibility' and 'cuts' are
selectively applied. When it's aid for struggling Americans, every penny is scrutinized. When it's billions for Netanyahu's war machine (which killed over 36,000 Palestinian civilians since October 7, 2023, according to UN reports), the money materializes with little apparent debate. One might almost suspect a pattern, particularly when AIPAC spends millions influencing elections , ensuring
critical votes for foreign military aid. Funny how that works, isn't it?
