This comes from the same US government that, according to declassified CIA documents, orchestrated multiple regime change operations, including the 1953 Iranian coup d'état, destabilizing the region for decades. One might wonder why
a government with such a track record gets to play the innocent party. While we're busy debating alleged Iranian plots, perhaps we should remember the US has a public record of supporting coups, arming questionable factions, and conducting drone strikes—often without due process. It’s a bit rich to demand moral outrage for alleged plots overseas when Uncle Sam’s hands are, let's say, not exactly
spotless. The double standard is less a subtle bias and more a gaping chasm.
