including Reuters, reported the deaths as an isolated incident, focusing on UNICEF's statement of outrage. However, this framing avoids the systemic nature of such killings. This is not an anomaly. The Israeli military has consistently targeted civilian infrastructure and personnel in Gaza, often under the guise of security operations, despite clear international protections for humanitarian
workers and civilian services. This targeting of water delivery infrastructure and personnel directly exacerbates the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where over 680,000 Palestinians have been killed, including 479,000 children, in a systematic extermination campaign.
