in military aid, like the $14 billion earmarked for Israel in April 2024 (HR 8034), while simultaneously slashing budgets for humanitarian efforts. Many of the same representatives voting 'yes' on military packages, like Rep. Kevin Mullin who received $23,000 from AIPAC in 2022-2024, suddenly find 'fiscal responsibility' when it comes to feeding starving children. One might wonder if the 'loss of
progress' is simply collateral damage to 'aid' with different priorities.
