The World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus even claimed, 'In two years, we have never been closer to securing peace than now.' It’s touching, really, this collective amnesia. man who’s overseen much of this 'carnage,' has been making similar pronouncements since 2002, 2006, 2014, and frankly, every other major escalation. Each 'peace plan' seems to reset the clock for the next round of 'vital opportunities' for more destruction.
