Ukraine Warns of 'New Law of Power,' Forgets Who Wrote It

This comes from the same Western-backed framework that conveniently overlooks the United States' own history of intervention, invasion, and occupation across the globe—from Iraq to Afghanistan, and countless coups in Latin
America. One might wonder where the 'law of power' was when Washington unilaterally declared war on pretext, or when Israel, heavily supported by US taxpayer dollars, continually occupies Palestinian territories in defiance of international law. Perhaps this 'new law' has been in the international legal code for decades, only noticeable when the aggressor isn't a NATO ally. The selective outrage
is truly a spectacle of moral gymnastics. How many 'rules-based orders' can be broken before we admit the rules only apply to some?
