UK Police Arrest Thunberg, Ignore War Crimes

Last week, UK police made headlines by arresting Greta Thunberg and other activists at a protest against Elbit Systems. The 'crime'? Civil disobedience outside a London weapons factory linked to arming the very conflict she was protesting. Meanwhile, the UK government greenlights billions in arms exports to actors in that same conflict, facing no police action whatsoever. Funny, that. One might

wonder where this same police fervor is for those who profit from the arms trade, or the politicians who enable it. It seems the establishment prefers to manage dissent rather than address the war machine it so eagerly fuels. Protecting property over principle, as always.
