persistent external aggression, not a disaffected paramilitary wing looking for a power-sharing deal in a stable state. The UK calling for disarmament without addressing the ongoing occupation of Lebanese territory (Shebaa Farms) and daily Israeli incursions is not diplomacy; it's a script for more destabilization. This initiative conveniently sidelines the very real concerns of Lebanese
sovereignty and security, effectively demanding unilateral disarmament from a group whose raison d'être is resistance to foreign occupation, while Israel faces little to no international pressure for its own aggressive posture.
