(A rather curious comparison for those paying attention.) What the report conveniently omits is the extensive, well-documented evidence—from UN reports to regional intelligence
sources—that the UAE has been a primary financial and military backer of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) , the very paramilitary group causing much of the devastation since the conflict erupted in April 2023. This isn't just about 'influence'; it's about providing the weapons and resources that fuel the fighting. So, the UAE, widely identified as having armed the RSF, now demands a ceasefire and
civilian transition. It’s like a pyromaniac calling for fire safety, while still holding the matches he just used. How many 'calls for peace' does it take before we question the caller's sincerity, especially when they're actively (and covertly) funding one side of the conflict they claim to deplore?
