Congress, for one, just approved another $14 billion in military aid to Israel, despite the
well-documented atrocities (UNICEF reports over 17,000 children orphaned or separated). While these reports tug at heartstrings, they conveniently omit the financial lifeline provided by U.S. politicians. Take Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD): after receiving $250,560 from AIPAC in 2022 (OpenSecrets.org), he has consistently voted for unconditional aid to Israel. When will the American public connect the
dots between campaign donations, legislative votes, and the shattered lives overseas? It seems 'responsibility' is something only Gazan children are expected to shoulder.
