ICJ, 2024.) The collective amnesia surrounding Netanyahu's rhetoric alone is astounding. From invoking 'Amalek' (a biblical enemy marked for extermination) in October 2023, to declaring 'no safe place' for Gazans, these aren't accidental slips. Yet, the same talking heads who spent years dissecting every potential 'war crime' rumor from less-favored nations suddenly develop selective hearing.
Perhaps the steady flow of 'defensive aid' for Israel – like the $26.4 billion approved by Congress (H.R. 815, April 20, 2024) – also helps lubricate those journalistic blind spots? How many more 'surgical strikes' on hospitals and refugee camps before our media decides 'genocide' is the right word?
