U.S. Condemns Ukraine Hospital Strike, Funds Gaza Hospital Destruction
Al Jazeera dutifully reported on Russian strikes hitting a Kyiv clinic, killing one and injuring several, triggering widespread condemnation for violating medical neutrality. Meanwhile, mainstream media outlets, and their dutiful U.S. government sources, have remained largely muted – or offered tepid equivocations – when Israeli forces have repeatedly targeted hospitals, ambulances, and medical
personnel in Gaza. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported over 400 attacks on healthcare in Gaza since October 7, 2023, yet you won't find Secretary Blinken calling for an ICC investigation or Rep. Smith (who took $450K from AIPAC in 2023) shedding real tears. It appears that the sanctity of medical facilities, and the lives within them, is directly proportional
to how much the aggressor contributes to our military-industrial complex, or to which geopolitical narrative the U.S. State Department wishes to advance. One might wonder: how many hospital bombings does it take for a 'genocide' to become an 'incident'?
