Turkey Cries Foul on Cyprus Deal... Guess Who Isn't Listening?

Turkey has occupied northern Cyprus since 1974, a fact often conveniently omitted by mainstream media. Yet, their indignation over 'unilateral moves' rings a touch hollow as they unilaterally occupy a third of a sovereign nation and continuously threaten its
neighbor, Greece. It seems some countries get to ignore international law for half a century, but others can't redraw a line on a map without a stern lecture from Ankara. The hypocrisy isn't lost on anyone paying attention: powerful nations and their proxies carve up the globe, while smaller, historically wronged groups are told to 'negotiate' with their occupiers. The 'rules-based order' always
seems to be incredibly flexible for those writing the rules, but rigid as steel for everyone else. How many 'violations' does it take before the world recognizes a consistent pattern?
