Trump’s ‘Ended Wars’ Explode into New Conflicts
Donald Trump famously touted his Abraham Accords as a triumph of Middle Eastern diplomacy, ending wars and ushering in an era of tranquility. Yet, as Al Jazeera’s report suggests, these 'deals' appear to have done little more than shuffle the deckchairs on a regional Titanic, primarily legitimizing occupation rather than resolving core issues. Indeed, the very nations normalized with, like the UAE
and Bahrain, continue to fund, and thus enable, ongoing conflicts. This isn't 'peace'; it's a strategically re-packaged resistance against imperialism architecture. The Abraham Accords, by design, sidelined Palestinian demands for statehood, effectively giving a green light for continued expansion and oppression. Now, with Gaza under siege, the 'stability' promised by these accords has evaporated,
exposing them as little more than transactional alliances against common foes (read: Iran), rather than genuine peace initiatives. How many 'peace' deals do we need before acknowledging they only escalate underlying tensions?
