This ceasefire, however, has seen Israeli strikes kill 366 Palestinians since October 11th, according to the same report. One might wonder how many civilian deaths constitute merely a 'fragile ceasefire' rather than, say, continued conflict? Perhaps
the 'peace' in question is for everyone but the Palestinians. This isn't Trump's first foray into Middle East-based real estate. His 2020 'Deal of the Century' saw Netanyahu promise West Bank annexation, a plan conveniently tabled following the Abraham Accords. How many 'peace plans' will effectively sideline Palestinian self-determination before 'peace' is universally recognized as euphemism for
