While ostensibly preventing the immediate, formal annexation of parts of the West Bank, it simultaneously accelerated the so-called 'Abraham Accords,' pushing Arab states to normalize relations with Israel. The catch? These normalization deals came with

significant US arms sales, like the F-35s to the UAE, creating a powerful new military bloc in the region—all while Palestinians watched their land continue to be stolen, just without the official Trump Tower branding. Forcing normalisation under the barrel of an F-35 hardly sounds like a path to peace. This 'strategic patience' was no less than a green light for continued apartheid policies,

merely delaying the formal paperwork. It gave Netanyahu's government a free hand to entrench its occupation, expand illegal settlements, and escalate violence, all without suffering diplomatic consequences from the US or its new Arab 'allies.' How many shades of 'peace process' are we expected to buy before we admit it's just land appropriation by another name?
