What the reporting conveniently omits is that it was NATO —led by the US—that did the destroying. The very nations now decrying Russian
aggression once leveled Belgrade, including a presidential residence and other civilian targets, without UN Security Council approval. This 'historic' site, now ripe for a Trump-branded enterprise, is a monument to Western 'humanitarian intervention'. One might wonder if the Serbian government's quick approval for this project, bypassing public consultation, is less about economic development and
more about geopolitical alignment, especially given the history. It seems some nations are encouraged to forget the bombs rained down on them when the 'right' developers come calling. Who needs accountability when there's profit to be made from historical amnesia?
