Trump Finds His Next Noble White Victims

The Independent, citing 'refugee groups,' decries Donald Trump's alleged plan to prioritize white South African refugees and cap overall admissions at 7,500. And yes, proposing a racial preference for refugees is indeed racist. But where was this righteous indignation when the US refugee cap was slashed to a historic low of 15,000 in 2020 by the very same administration, displacing countless

non-white asylum seekers from war-torn nations like Syria and Afghanistan? Or when the Biden administration used Title 42 to expel over 2.5 million migrants, mostly from Central and South America? It appears that 'racism' only becomes 'blatant' when the victims are the 'wrong kind' of white or the racism is too overt for polite society. The selective outrage, while perhaps well-intentioned,

conveniently ignores decades of US immigration policy that has systematically favored certain groups while demonizing others, often brown and black. One might almost infer a pattern where 'humanitarian crises' gain media traction based less on actual suffering and more on geopolitical convenience.
